At Danaa, we offer two distinct pathways for those interested in teaching Persian: Community Tutors and Professional Tutors. Each category has its own set of requirements, tailored to different levels of teaching experience and educational backgrounds.
General Requirements:
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Language Proficiency: Native or near-native proficiency in Persian.
- Passion for Teaching: Enthusiasm for sharing the Persian language and culture.
- Professionalism: Strong communication skills, reliability, and a professional demeanor.
Community Tutor:
- Meets all the general requirements listed above.
Professional Tutor:
- Meets all the general requirements listed above.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree and higher in education, Persian Language and Literature, and linguistics, or related fields.
- Certification: Certification in teaching Persian as a second language or equivalent (120 hours of training preferred) or a university degree in Persian Language and Literature, Education, Linguistics, or related fields.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
