  • Politely inquire if there was a misunderstanding about the lesson time.

  • If you do not receive a response or if the teacher repeatedly misses lessons, report the incident to Danaa School support.

For any cancellations, both the student and the teacher should contact the support team.

20-Minute Grace Period:

  • Your teacher will wait for 20 minutes after the scheduled start time in case you are running late.

Lesson Cancellation:

  • If you do not arrive within 20 minutes, the lesson will be considered canceled.

Credit Transfer:

  • The lesson credit will be transferred to the teacher, unless you have an agreement with the teacher regarding the missed lesson.

  • First Offense: Friendly reminder and warning.

  • Tutor-Student Agreements: Students and tutors are allowed to make individual agreements regarding lesson cancellations or rescheduling, provided they inform the support team. This flexibility allows for personalized arrangements that suit both parties’ needs.

Trial Lesson Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  1. Cancellation Policy:
  • Students must cancel trial lessons at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in limited access to future trial lessons with other tutors.
  • If the student wishes to have another lesson with the same tutor after missing a trial, they must book a paid lesson.

  • If a student does not show up for a scheduled trial lesson without prior notice, the trial lesson will be considered completed. The student will not be able to schedule another free trial lesson with the same tutor.

Harassment Policy for Students

According to the rules of our platform, any violation of social norms and rules — including inappropriate behavior, sexual harassment, and fraud — is strictly prohibited on Danaa.

We work hard to make sure students never encounter inappropriate behavior or messages from tutors, but sometimes it can still happen. If you face this inappropriate behavior, get in touch with our support team immediately!

If a student asks you to accept payment outside of the Danaa School system, you must decline the request. Inform the student that all lesson bookings and payments must be made through your Danaa School teaching profile.

Additionally, please report these students by submitting a support ticket. This ensures that you are in compliance with Danaa School policies and helps maintain the integrity of our platform.

Penalty for Accepting Payments Outside the Platform:

  • Immediate Investigation: The tutor’s account will be temporarily suspended pending investigation.
  • Permanent Ban: If the violation is confirmed, the tutor will be permanently removed from the platform.
  • Frozen Funds: Any pending earnings may be forfeited.

 

What to Do When a Student Doesn’t Show Up
