What to Do If a Student Asks You to Accept Payment Outside of Danaa School

All lessons with Danaa School students must be paid for through the Danaa School platform. The expectations for Danaa School teachers are clearly outlined in our Teacher Policies and Code of Conduct.

If a student asks you to accept payment outside of the Danaa School system, you must decline the request. Inform the student that all lesson bookings and payments must be made through your Danaa School teaching profile.

Additionally, please report these students by submitting a support ticket. This ensures that you are in compliance with Danaa School policies and helps maintain the integrity of our platform.

Penalty for Accepting Payments Outside the Platform:

Exchanging Contact Information:

Sharing or exchanging personal contact information (such as email, phone numbers, or social media handles) with students outside the Danaa School platform is strictly prohibited. Tutors are required to keep all communication within the Danaa School platform to ensure compliance with our policies and maintain a safe and professional environment.

Tutors can send messages to students via the chat section on their profiles and share necessary files through the cloud section on the platform.

Any violation of this rule will result in penalties, including account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

How Should I Inform That I’m Not Going to the Lesson?

If you are unable to attend a scheduled lesson, it is crucial to inform your student and the Danaa School support team at least 24 hours in advance. Follow these steps:

Penalty for Last-Minute Cancellations

  1. First Offense:
    • Penalty: Formal warning and a reminder of the importance of giving ample notice. 
  2. Second Offense:
    • Penalty: Suspension from teaching on the platform for one week. 
  3. Third Offense:
    • Penalty: Suspension from the platform for one month. The tutor will need to undergo a review process to ensure commitment to platform policies and reliability standards.
  4. Fourth Offense:
    • Penalty: Temporary deactivation from the platform for three months. The tutor will be required to provide a detailed explanation and demonstrate a commitment to adhere to platform guidelines upon reinstatement. Further violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.

How Can I Receive My Payment?

You can request withdrawals through your account. Withdrawal requests are processed on the 15th and 1st of every month. 

Availability Policy

To ensure a smooth learning experience for students, tutors are expected to maintain active time slots for booking. If a tutor has no available time slots for more than one week, their profile will be temporarily hidden from the platform. Tutors will receive a reminder before this action is taken. Keeping a consistent schedule helps students plan their learning and keeps the platform dynamic and engaging.
