What to Do If a Student Asks You to Accept Payment Outside of Danaa School

All lessons with Danaa School students must be paid for through the Danaa School platform. The expectations for Danaa School teachers are clearly outlined in our Teacher Policies and Code of Conduct.

If a student asks you to accept payment outside of the Danaa School system, you must decline the request. Inform the student that all lesson bookings and payments must be made through your Danaa School teaching profile.

Additionally, please report these students by submitting a support ticket. This ensures that you are in compliance with Danaa School policies and helps maintain the integrity of our platform.

How Should I Inform That I’m Not Going to the Lesson?

If you are unable to attend a scheduled lesson, it is crucial to inform your student and the Danaa School support team at least 24 hours in advance. Follow these steps:

Penalty for Last-Minute Cancellations

  1. First Offense:
    • Penalty: Formal warning and a reminder of the importance of giving ample notice. 
  2. Second Offense:
    • Penalty: Suspension from teaching on the platform for one week. 
  3. Third Offense:
    • Penalty: Suspension from the platform for one month. The tutor will need to undergo a review process to ensure commitment to platform policies and reliability standards.
  4. Fourth Offense:
    • Penalty: Temporary deactivation from the platform for three months. The tutor will be required to provide a detailed explanation and demonstrate a commitment to adhere to platform guidelines upon reinstatement. Further violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.

How Can I Receive My Payment?

You can request withdrawals through your account. Withdrawal requests are processed on the 15th and 1st of every month. 

Social Media Guidelines

At Danaa School, we encourage our tutors to share their positive experiences and classroom moments on social media. However, to maintain privacy and uphold our professional standards, we ask you to follow these guidelines:

  1. Tagging and Mentioning Danaa School:
    Whenever you post content related to Danaa School, including classroom experiences, teaching materials, or any other Danaa-related activities, please tag or mention us, or provide a link to our platform. This helps us build a cohesive community and allows others to discover our platform. You can tag our official accounts on the respective platforms.
  2. Respecting Student Privacy:
    To protect the privacy and safety of our students, please ensure that their faces or any identifiable information are never shown in any photos or videos shared publicly. This applies to all social media platforms and any other public-facing channels.

By adhering to these guidelines, you contribute to a respectful and secure environment for everyone at Danaa School. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in helping us maintain the integrity and privacy of our community.

Penalty for Violating Social Media Guidelines

  1. First Violation: Warning
    • A formal warning will be issued to the tutor, reminding them of the guidelines and the importance of adhering to them.
  2. Second Violation: Temporary Suspension
    • The tutor’s account will be temporarily suspended for one week. During this period, the tutor will not be able to conduct lessons or access the platform’s features.
  3. Third Violation: Longer Suspension
    • A more extended suspension of one month will be imposed if the violation occurs again.
  4. Fourth Violation: Final Suspension
    • The tutor will be suspended from the platform for three months, with a clear warning that any further violations will lead to permanent deactivation.
  5. Fifth Violation: Permanent Deactivation and Account Review
    • Permanent deactivation of the tutor’s account. Any remaining funds may be frozen pending review.

These penalties are designed to escalate based on the frequency and severity of the violations, emphasizing the importance of respecting student privacy and maintaining professional standards on social media. If the tutor and the student reach an agreement regarding the violation, they must inform the Danaa School support team for approval and record-keeping.

Harassment Policy 

According to the rules of our platform, any violation of social norms and rules — including inappropriate behavior, sexual harassment, and fraud — is strictly prohibited on Danaa.

We work hard to make sure tutors never encounter inappropriate behavior or messages from students, but sometimes it can still happen. If you face this inappropriate behavior, get in touch with our support team immediately!

How to Report Violations

At Danaa, we prioritize a positive and respectful learning environment. While we don’t have a block button on our platform, we encourage tutors to maintain open communication. If you encounter any issues that violate our community guidelines, please take a screenshot and promptly report it to our Support Team.

Our dedicated support professionals will carefully review the situation, ensuring a fair resolution in line with our platform policies. In cases where necessary, we may involve a third-party legal team to address more complex issues.

It’s important to note that transparency and communication are key aspects of our community, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us uphold a safe and supportive space for all Danaa users.
