Attention & Focus Checklist —
A Gentle Way to Understand Your Child
A short, supportive checklist that helps you reflect on your child's attention, focus, and learning behaviours — at home, at school, and in online classes. It takes about 5 minutes, and your answers stay private on your device.
This is an educational reflection tool — not a medical test or diagnosis. ADHD can only be diagnosed by a qualified clinician.

Frequently asked questions
No. This is a reflection tool for parents, not a diagnostic test. ADHD is a clinical diagnosis that can only be made by a qualified professional — such as a paediatrician, child psychologist, or psychiatrist — after a thorough assessment. This checklist simply helps you notice patterns and decide whether a conversation with a professional might be helpful.
Yes. Your answers are scored entirely within your own browser and are never sent or saved anywhere by default. We don't ask for your child's name, date of birth, or any medical record. If you choose to receive your summary by email at the end, we only collect the email address you provide, with your explicit consent.
Not necessarily. Many children — especially younger ones — show attention or restlessness patterns at times, particularly when tired, bored, or adjusting to a new routine. What matters more is how often these patterns appear, across different settings, and whether they affect learning or daily life. If you're concerned, the kindest next step is a calm chat with your child's teacher or doctor.
A good first point of contact is your child's paediatrician or family doctor, who can refer you onward if needed. Your school's counsellor or special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) can share what they observe in class. For a formal assessment, a child psychologist, educational psychologist, or developmental paediatrician is the right professional.
Children with attention or focus challenges can absolutely learn a second language — bilingualism is not harmful and can even be beneficial. The key is the right approach: shorter sessions, interactive teaching, visual support, and a patient tutor. That's exactly how Danaa's online Persian classes are designed, so learning feels playful rather than pressured.
About 5 minutes. There are around 26 short statements, and you simply choose how often each one fits your child. You can stop at any time, and nothing is saved unless you ask us to email your summary.
