Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you use Danaa School’s website, platform, classes, workshops, educational content, booking systems and related services.

In these Terms, “Danaa”, “Danaa School”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to DANAA LTD. “You” and “your” refer to any visitor, parent, guardian, student, tutor, customer or other person using our services.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing our website, creating an account, booking a class, registering for a workshop, making a payment, applying as a tutor or using any Danaa School service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website, platform, classes or services.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund and Payment Policy, Safeguarding or classroom rules, and any other policy or notice published by Danaa School from time to time.

3. Our Services

Danaa School provides online educational services, including Persian language classes, Persian literature classes, music classes, educational workshops, cultural programmes and other learning activities.

Services may include:

  • one-to-one online classes;
  • group classes and workshops;
  • trial sessions;
  • educational events;
  • online learning materials;
  • teacher and tutor profiles;
  • booking, scheduling, communication and support tools.

Some classes are delivered by tutors, teachers, contractors or education professionals working with Danaa School. Danaa School may manage bookings, payments, communications, quality control and support.

4. Students Under 18 and Parental Responsibility

Danaa School provides services for children and young people. If a student is under 18, registration, booking and participation must be authorised by a parent or legal guardian.

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information about the student;
  • choosing suitable classes and tutors;
  • making payments and managing bookings;
  • ensuring that the student attends classes safely and appropriately;
  • supervising the student’s use of online services where appropriate;
  • communicating with Danaa School about any concerns, learning needs or safeguarding matters.

By booking a class for a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have authority from the parent or legal guardian to make the booking.

5. Safeguarding and Online Class Rules

The safety of students is important to Danaa School. Students, parents, guardians and tutors must behave respectfully and appropriately during all classes, workshops and communications.

Users must not:

  • use abusive, discriminatory, threatening or inappropriate language;
  • share inappropriate, harmful, illegal or offensive content;
  • record, screenshot or distribute class content without permission;
  • contact children outside approved Danaa School communication channels without parental consent;
  • share personal contact details with students or tutors where this breaches Danaa School rules;
  • behave in a way that could place a child, tutor or user at risk.

We may suspend or terminate access to our services where we believe there is a safeguarding, safety, misuse, fraud or conduct concern.

6. Accounts and User Information

Some services may require you to create an account or provide registration details. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.

You must not share your account login details with anyone else, impersonate another person, create misleading accounts or use the platform for unlawful or unauthorised purposes.

7. Bookings, Scheduling and Attendance

Class times, tutor availability, course dates and workshop schedules may be displayed on our website, booking system, by email, or through direct communication with Danaa School.

You are responsible for checking the correct date, time zone, class format and technical requirements before booking or attending a class.

Students should attend classes on time. If a student is late, the class may still end at the scheduled time.

Tutors and classes may occasionally need to be changed due to illness, emergency, availability, technical problems or operational reasons. Where possible, Danaa School will offer a suitable replacement, reschedule the class or provide another reasonable solution.

8. Trial Classes

Danaa School may offer trial classes or introductory sessions. The purpose of a trial class is to understand the student’s level, needs and suitability for a tutor or course.

Trial class availability, duration, eligibility and conditions may vary and may be changed by Danaa School from time to time.

Trial classes are not guaranteed with every tutor and may be subject to availability.

9. Payments

Prices, packages, class fees and payment terms may be displayed on our website, booking system, invoice, proposal or other communication from Danaa School.

Unless stated otherwise, payment must be made before the class, course, workshop or service begins.

We may use third-party payment processors to process payments securely. We do not directly store full credit or debit card details on our own systems.

You are responsible for ensuring that payment information is accurate and that payments are made on time.

Danaa School may refuse, suspend or cancel access to services where payment has not been received, has failed, has been reversed or is suspected to be fraudulent.

10. Cancellation, Refunds and Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer purchasing services online, you may have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of entering into the contract, subject to applicable UK consumer law.

If you ask us to start providing a service, class, workshop or course during the 14-day cancellation period, you agree that we may begin providing the service before the cancellation period ends.

If you cancel after the service has started, we may charge you for the part of the service already provided up to the time you tell us you wish to cancel.

If a class, workshop or course has been fully provided within the cancellation period with your request or agreement, your right to cancel may be affected in accordance with applicable law.

Additional refund, cancellation, rescheduling and credit rules may be set out in our Refund and Payment Policy or in the specific terms of the package, course, class or workshop you purchase.

Important: Danaa School should keep a separate Refund and Payment Policy that clearly explains missed classes, late cancellations, rescheduling, unused credits, package expiry and refunds.

11. Missed Classes and Rescheduling

If you cannot attend a class, you should notify Danaa School as soon as possible.

Rescheduling may be possible depending on the tutor’s availability, the type of class, the notice given and the terms of the package or course purchased.

For group classes, workshops or events, missed sessions may not always be rescheduled or refunded, unless stated otherwise.

If a tutor or Danaa School needs to cancel or reschedule a class, we will take reasonable steps to offer a replacement class, alternative tutor, credit or other appropriate solution.

12. Tutors

Tutors working with Danaa School must provide accurate information about their experience, qualifications, availability and teaching background.

Danaa School may request information or documents from tutors to help assess suitability, teaching experience, identity or professional background.

Tutors are responsible for:

  • delivering classes with reasonable care, skill and professionalism;
  • attending scheduled classes on time;
  • using appropriate teaching materials and methods;
  • respecting students, parents and Danaa School staff;
  • following safeguarding, privacy and communication rules;
  • not bypassing Danaa School payment or booking systems;
  • keeping student and parent information confidential.

Danaa School may remove, suspend or restrict a tutor profile or tutor access where we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these Terms, safeguarding rules, quality standards, confidentiality obligations or professional conduct expectations.

13. Tutor Profiles, Photos and Videos

Tutors may provide profile information, photographs, biographies, qualifications, teaching descriptions, videos or other materials for use on Danaa School’s website, platform, social media or marketing channels.

By providing such materials, tutors grant Danaa School permission to use them for the purpose of promoting Danaa School services and helping students and parents choose suitable classes or tutors.

Tutors must ensure that any materials they provide are accurate, lawful and do not infringe the rights of any third party.

Tutors may request removal or update of their profile materials by contacting [email protected], subject to reasonable processing time and any legal or operational requirements.

14. Class Recordings, Screenshots and Learning Materials

Classes, workshops or events may sometimes be recorded for educational, safeguarding, quality control, internal training or support purposes.

Where recording takes place, we will inform participants in advance and obtain consent where required.

Users must not record, screenshot, copy, publish or share any class, tutor, student, learning material or platform content without permission from Danaa School and, where relevant, the individuals involved.

Danaa School will not use a child’s image, video, voice, testimonial or identifiable class content for public marketing or social media without separate parent or guardian consent.

15. User Conduct

You agree to use Danaa School services lawfully, respectfully and only for educational purposes.

You must not:

  • misuse the website, platform or communication tools;
  • attempt to hack, disrupt, overload or damage our systems;
  • copy, scrape, harvest or extract data from the website or platform without permission;
  • upload viruses, malware or harmful code;
  • use our services for fraud, spam, harassment or unlawful activity;
  • share offensive, discriminatory, sexual, violent, illegal or harmful content;
  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • attempt to bypass Danaa School booking, payment, safety or communication rules.

16. Educational Content and Intellectual Property

All website content, platform content, branding, logos, designs, class materials, videos, text, graphics, worksheets, digital resources and other materials provided by Danaa School are owned by or licensed to Danaa School unless stated otherwise.

You may use Danaa School materials only for your personal educational use or for the specific purpose for which they were provided.

You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, upload, share or commercially exploit Danaa School materials without our prior written permission.

17. User-Generated Content, Feedback and Reviews

You may provide feedback, reviews, comments, messages, testimonials, survey responses or other content to Danaa School.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you provide is accurate, lawful, respectful and does not infringe the rights of others.

By providing feedback or reviews, you allow Danaa School to use them for service improvement, internal analysis and, where appropriate, marketing or promotional purposes.

We will not publicly use a child’s identifiable testimonial, image, video or class content for marketing without separate parent or guardian consent.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, terms, privacy practices or performance of third-party websites or services.

20. Service Availability and Technical Issues

We aim to provide reliable online services, but we do not guarantee that the website, platform, booking tools, video class systems or other services will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

Services may be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, technical faults, internet issues, third-party service problems or events outside our control.

Users are responsible for having suitable internet access, device, camera, microphone and software needed to attend online classes.

21. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to our services where we reasonably believe that:

  • you have breached these Terms or another Danaa School policy;
  • payment has not been made or has been reversed;
  • there is a safeguarding, safety, fraud or security concern;
  • you have misused our services, content or communication tools;
  • continued access may harm Danaa School, students, parents, tutors or other users.

Where appropriate, we may give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. However, in serious cases we may act immediately.

Please include your name, contact details, student name if relevant, class or tutor details, and a clear explanation of the issue.

We will review the complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable time, depending on the nature and complexity of the matter.

23. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

Subject to the above, Danaa School is not responsible for:

  • losses caused by your misuse of our services;
  • losses caused by inaccurate information provided by you;
  • technical problems outside our reasonable control;
  • loss of profit, business, goodwill or indirect losses;
  • third-party websites, tools, platforms or services;
  • failure to attend classes or use purchased services where this is not caused by Danaa School.

Where we are liable to you, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid to Danaa School for the affected service, unless a higher limit is required by law.

24. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing services where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

This may include internet outages, platform failures, illness, emergencies, natural events, war, terrorism, strikes, government restrictions, power cuts or failures of third-party providers.

Where possible, we will try to offer a reasonable alternative, such as rescheduling or providing access at another time.

25. Non-Solicitation and Direct Arrangements

Students, parents, guardians and tutors must not use Danaa School to bypass Danaa School’s booking, communication or payment systems.

Unless we agree in writing, tutors must not solicit Danaa School students or parents to book or pay for classes outside Danaa School.

Students, parents and guardians must not encourage tutors to provide paid services outside Danaa School where the relationship was introduced through Danaa School.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, technology or business operations.

The latest version will be published on our website. Where changes are significant, we may notify users by email or through the website.

Continued use of our services after updated Terms are published means that you accept the updated Terms.

27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
