Many students assume GCSE Persian is easy because they speak the language. But the exam tests much more than conversation.
Informal writing — texting-style Farsi doesn’t earn marks. The exam requires structured paragraphs with correct grammar.
Spelling errors — heritage speakers often make critical spelling mistakes that cost marks in the writing paper.
