Culture note: In Iran, healthcare is taken very seriously. Parents often consult multiple doctors (a Persian cultural custom called مشورت — seeking advice) before making medical decisions. The پزشک کودکان (paediatrician) is highly respected. Iranian grandmothers are also known for having strong opinions about baby health — "نوزاد گرم داره" (the baby is running hot!) or "باید تیاری برای سرماخوردگی داشته باشی" (you need to be prepared for a cold) are things grandmas still say today.
